Symposium — Calibre Companion
Getting Started
- Launch Calibre on your computer and enable Content Server (Preferences → Sharing over the net)
- Open Symposium — it will auto-discover your Calibre server via Bonjour
- If auto-discovery fails, tap "Add Server" and enter your computer's IP address and port (default: 8080)
- Browse your library, download books, or connect via OPDS catalogs
Known Issues
- Connection refused: Verify the Calibre Content Server is running and your firewall allows port 8080 (or your custom port).
- Metadata not updating: Pull-to-refresh the library view to fetch the latest metadata from your Calibre server.
- Sync conflicts: If reading position sync shows stale data, tap "Force Sync" in the book details screen.
